The future of mobility will be shaped by the development of electric motors and their supply systems. Already today, in some European countries, the number of registrations for electric and hybrid cards exceeds that of classic vehicles with internal combustion engines. Subsidies create financial incentives for private individuals and companies.
However, the charging infrastructure is still a problem in many countries. Public charging infrastructure is developing slowly and private installation is expensive and complex.
The “Charge2Drive” project is developing a smart charging cable that can be easily connected to an existing power grid and at the same time has an integrated automatic billing system. Charge2Drive offers not only simple access to e-mobility to private individuals in a tenant relationship, but above all company fleets an intelligent and simple billing and charging system for their company fleet.
